Teacher means we learn from our past. If such incident didn't happen in past, today we are not what we have. By learning from past, we become what we have. If our past was good, we recall and cry and wish, "Please, past moments come back," but they never come back, and we feel bad and become sad. We need to not recall past because they never come back and we can't change the past. If we recall past, we have to respect past as a teacher. Doctor Becomes First Hindu Woman to Crack Prestigious Central Superior Services Examination


A Hindu woman in Pakistan has cleared the 
country’s prestigious Central Superior Services (CSS) examination and has been selected for the elite Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS)



Background 
• Sana Ramachand is an MBBS doctor, hailing from rural area of Shikarpur district in Sindh
province, which has the largest Hindu population in Pakistan. She is one of the 221 candidates declared successful in the CSS examination out of the 18,553 who had appeared in the written tests.

After the result, Ramchand tweeted: 
‘Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh’ The pass percentage in the latest CSS has been less than 2 percent which shows the tough competition.

and have been allotted various groups 
including PAS. The topper is also a woman, 
Maheen Hassan, who was also allotted the 
PAS.




• Hinduism is the second largest religious affiliation in Pakistan after Islam.
• Hindus presently account for 2.14% of  Pakistan's population
• Before partition, according to the 1941 census, Hindus constituted 14% of the population in West Pakistan (now Pakistan) and 28% of the population in East 
Pakistan (now Bangladesh)
• One of the most important places of worship for Hindus in Pakistan is the shrine of Shri Hinglaj Mata temple in Balochistan

*DDC reviews the progress in the implimentation of POSHAN ABHIYAN.* KISHTWAR 04-07-2020District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara today convened a meeting of all district officers here in his office chamber and reviewed the progress in the implimentation of the District Convergence plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Parihar,Joint director Planning Mohd Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch ,District Social welfare officer Tariq Ahmad Qazi, Chief Medical Officer kishtwar Dr R .S Manhas,Chief Education Officers Dr Kuldeep Sharma , Assistant Director FCS&CA kishtwar, Executive officer MC Tariq Balwan,XEn PHE N K Gupta, besides concerned officers and officials among others. At the outset Program Officer ICDS Kishtwar Pawan Parihar briefed the meeting about the progress at different quarters that are underway for the ensured implementation of Convergence Plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.During the meeting DDC urged the heads of concerned departments to work in a tandem and asked for pooling their efforts under a convergence plan so that an integrated approach could be carved out for achieving the tangible results under the POSHAN ABHIYAN.Furthermore he assessed one by one the Progress made in various quarters viz. construction of govt buildings for the effective functioning of Anganwari Centres in rural areas ,provisions for safe drinking water and child friendly toilet facility in privately hired set ups, maintenance of database of all health checkups and and nutritional status of pregnant ladies ,creation of dedicated Cooking facility in the Anganwadi centres, installation of Sanitary Napkins Vending machines at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar and in other identified high schools,providing Jal Jivan kits to AnganWari centres etcDDC asked PO, ICDS for conducting of Capacity building workshops and training programs for Supervisors by the end of this week.Besides , he also directed PO, ICDS and ACD kishtwar for the quantification of funds under convergence plan and submitt the proposals projected under B2V-2 in this regard in his office for further course of action.While emphasizing upon the role of PRIs and other religious leaders in the effective implementation of the POSHAN ABHIYAN and other schemes of ICDS at the gross root level , he asked the Nutritional mobilizers to work in cooperation with them for gross root level success of ABHIYAN.
