Image
The Elephanta Caves are a compilation of rock-cut cave temples devoted to the Hindu God Lord Shiva. They are believed to be built between the 5th and 7th centuries. Various indigenous dynasties contributed to these decorated temples. The monuments are placed on Elephanta Island near Mumbai, western India. As remarkable as these caves are, they are cut out of the solid basalt rock, the second hardest rock on earth. Most of the carvings narrate Hindu mythologies and even depict complex Yogic postures. The cave temples were in use by worshippers and devotees until the arrival of Portuguese colonialists on the island of Elephanta. The artwork carved is primarily that of Shaivism, Shaktism and Vaishnavism - three popular sects of Classical Hinduism. Major Hindu deities and Gods like Vishnu, Shiva, Nandi, Durga and Brahma are shown on the walls of these caves, carved beautifully. The architecture seen in these caves is something special. Do you know you can control your nightmare Dreams--Lucid Dreams?

Image
What Are Lucid Dreams? Lucid dreams are when you know that you’re  dreaming  while you’re asleep. You’re aware that the events flashing through  your brain  aren’t happening. But the dream feels vivid and real. You may even be able to control how the action unfolds as if you’re directing a movie in your  sleep . Studies suggest that about half of people may have had at least one lucid dream. But they probably don’t happen often, usually only a handful of times in a year. When Do Lucid Dreams Happen? Lucid dreams are most common during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, a period of very deep sleep marked by eye motion, faster breathing, and more brain activity. You usually enter REM sleep about 90 minutes after falling asleep. It lasts about 10 minutes. As you sleep, each REM period is longer than the one before, finally lasting up to an hour. Lucid Dreams Research Neuroscientists don’t know exactly how and why lucid dreams happen. But they have some ideas. The risk...

Rossby waves are formed when polar air moves toward the Equator while tropical air is moving poleward. The existence of these waves explains the low-pressure cells (cyclones) and high-pressure cells (anticyclones).

When Love Lasts -Love did never die A Incomplete Love Story πŸ’Ÿ

Image
Sad Incomplete  Love story One day I   saw her for the first time. We were in the second year of Graduation and she was a new joiner in our batch and probably the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my college. She sat on the middle bench of the classroom and as a nerd, I sat on the first bench. I had wanted to talk to her but I never had the guts to reach her.  Days passed by and it was the time for our simple exam. I wrote the exam and I came out.  surprise she was standing right in front of me and smiled at me. She said she has no one with her to accompany her for lunch and asked me to come with her for some time and also clear some of her doubts. I agreed and we had lunch together. I couldn't sleep the whole night after meeting her. The next day the same thing happened. This time she was waiting for me to come out of the exam hall. I felt different that's day  This continues for so many days. On the last day of the exam, I assembled my st...

Let's try to do something new to change World🌎

Let's try to do something new to change World 🌎 I'm sorry, but I don't want to be an emperor. That's not my business. I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible; Hindu, Muslim, Sikh Poor Rich, black, White man. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world &My heart, there is room for everyone, and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way. Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machiner...

Learning how to read people is a psychological superpower

Image
Learning how to read people is a psychological superpower Learning how to read people is a psychological superpower, but it’s also a capacity that anyone can pick up. It’s possible to glean a ton of information about others simply by paying attention. Ever since I started writing, I’ve been honing this skill. It’s not a hard and fast science — everyone has off days. But staying aware of a few patterns can help you find people with great character — and shape the individual you may wish to be. I look for these eight subtle indications in my interactions with people to understand who they really are. The way they treat service staff The way someone treats people who work in retail, food service, and hospitality tells me pretty much everything I need to know about them. Why? Because when you’re handling with service staff, you’re in a position of power.
