Teacher means we learn from our past. If such incident didn't happen in past, today we are not what we have. By learning from past, we become what we have. If our past was good, we recall and cry and wish, "Please, past moments come back," but they never come back, and we feel bad and become sad. We need to not recall past because they never come back and we can't change the past. If we recall past, we have to respect past as a teacher. DGP J&K SANCTIONS 3.21 CRORE WELFARE FUND


DGP sanctions welfare relief/loan of over Rs.3.21 crore for 313 police personnel.

Rs.20.61 crore loan/relief disbursed in last financial year


JAMMU, MAY 01: Continuing with the aim to provide more and more welfare measures for police personnel and to give financial assistance to meet their urgent needs, Director General of Police, J&K Shri Dilbag Singh sanctioned welfare loan in favour of 312 officers and personnel of J&K Police. The amount has been sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare Fund.
           As per the PHQ order welfare loan/relief of Rs.3,19,60,000/- has been sanctioned in favour of 312 police personnel.

          Among these 312 police personnel, 39 personnel suffering from different ailments, have been provided loan and relief for self-treatment. Similarly, 38 police personnel have been provided loan and relief for the treatment of their dependents.

          219 police personnel have been provided loan to meet the expenses of their own marriage, marriage of wards. Two police personnel have been provided loan for circumcision of their wards and one for mundan. 13 police personnel have been provided loan for higher education of their wards.

The DGP J&K also sanctioned rupees five thousand each to Const. Rayees Ahmad, SPO Aijaz Ahmad and rupees one lakh to SPO Vishal Singh out of Central Police Welfare Fund and Police Pariwar Fund who were injured while performing their legitimate duties.

          Welfare loan/relief is sanctioned in favour of J&K Police personnel to meet the expenses of different natures including self-treatment, treatment of dependents, education of wards, self-marriage and marriage of wards, circumcision/yognopavit of son. The loan sanctioned to the Police personnel is refundable and is recovered in easy monthly installments from their salaries.

          Pertinent to mention that Rs.20.61 crore loan / relief has been sanctioned and disbursed among 2150 J&K Police officers and personnel during the last financial year to meet their urgent needs and the needs of their respective families.

*DDC reviews the progress in the implimentation of POSHAN ABHIYAN.* KISHTWAR 04-07-2020District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara today convened a meeting of all district officers here in his office chamber and reviewed the progress in the implimentation of the District Convergence plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Parihar,Joint director Planning Mohd Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch ,District Social welfare officer Tariq Ahmad Qazi, Chief Medical Officer kishtwar Dr R .S Manhas,Chief Education Officers Dr Kuldeep Sharma , Assistant Director FCS&CA kishtwar, Executive officer MC Tariq Balwan,XEn PHE N K Gupta, besides concerned officers and officials among others. At the outset Program Officer ICDS Kishtwar Pawan Parihar briefed the meeting about the progress at different quarters that are underway for the ensured implementation of Convergence Plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.During the meeting DDC urged the heads of concerned departments to work in a tandem and asked for pooling their efforts under a convergence plan so that an integrated approach could be carved out for achieving the tangible results under the POSHAN ABHIYAN.Furthermore he assessed one by one the Progress made in various quarters viz. construction of govt buildings for the effective functioning of Anganwari Centres in rural areas ,provisions for safe drinking water and child friendly toilet facility in privately hired set ups, maintenance of database of all health checkups and and nutritional status of pregnant ladies ,creation of dedicated Cooking facility in the Anganwadi centres, installation of Sanitary Napkins Vending machines at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar and in other identified high schools,providing Jal Jivan kits to AnganWari centres etcDDC asked PO, ICDS for conducting of Capacity building workshops and training programs for Supervisors by the end of this week.Besides , he also directed PO, ICDS and ACD kishtwar for the quantification of funds under convergence plan and submitt the proposals projected under B2V-2 in this regard in his office for further course of action.While emphasizing upon the role of PRIs and other religious leaders in the effective implementation of the POSHAN ABHIYAN and other schemes of ICDS at the gross root level , he asked the Nutritional mobilizers to work in cooperation with them for gross root level success of ABHIYAN.
