DDC kishtwar inspected land identified for Saffron Park, Women's College and JNV.

District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara today visited Poochal area of district kishtwar and inspected the spot for the construction of the saffron Park there and also reviewed the progress of the acquisition of the land identified for the Saffron park.
He also interacted with the land donors there and during interaction he retierated that this Saffron park will play a pivotal role in the research, development and promotion of the saffron business in the Kishtwar.
He also inspected the land earmarked for the Women's College at the Matta village.
Later on DDC visited Healthcare and wellness centre Poochal and took stock of the health care facilities provided and functioning in the centre.
Enroute he also interacted with the people of Hidyal who apprised him of their problem of dalipidated condition of the drain alongside the road where the drain water is oozing out and the foul smell emanating from the water is creating a great problem to locals.
After listening to thier problem patiently,he directed the XEn PWD(R&B) to expedite the work of the construction and renovation of drainage in time bound manner for early redressal of the grievances of the people.
Earlier ,Yesterday, DDC visited the Hari area of Palmar and inspected the site of 120 Kanal land identified for the construction of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
It is pertinent to mention here that this JNV with its highly qualified faculty and staff besides state of the arts infrastructure will emerge as hub of education in the district.
During the tour to palmar area, DDC directed the Principal JNV kishtwar Ravinder Kumar to communicate to the higher authorities to conduct inspection of the technical team so that further steps for earlier construction of JNV buildings could be taken.
During the tour DDC was accompanied by Assistant Commisssioner Revenue kishtwar, Dr Amir Hussain, SDM Chhatroo Inderjeet Parihar, BDC Chairperson Palmar Lalita Devi, AEE PWD,Naib Tehsildar Kishtwar Javeed Iqbal Khandey, Principal JNV Ravinder Kumar along with the other field functionaries of revenue department.

The District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D. Doifode, inaugurated the first-of-its-kind Oxygen supply Pipeline and Conference Hall at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah here today.
It has been informed to the DDC, that the "Manifold Oxygen Pipeline System'' has been built at a cost of Rs 70 lakh approximately and said that this will not only cater the poor and needy populace from the District Doda but also from the adjoining areas of the district, Block Medical Officer, Bhaderwah added.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that the newly established oxygen supply Pipeline will be provided to the 100 bed's in the hospital and called it a big relief not only for the locals of the District but will also ensure better patient care in the respective hospital as well.
“Earlier, the hospital had to brought oxygen cylinders from Jammu and from other sources to give oxygen support to the needy patients but now with this system they can refill the oxygen in these D type cylinders and can ensure regular supply for near about 1 year to the patients who will be in dire need of the oxygen support,” said DDC.
"It is a historic day for the people of the district as this oxygen pipeline will not only provide piped oxygen supply at the patients bed but will also ensure Nitrous oxide supply for anesthesia of the patient in the operation theater which will facilitate more surgeries in the upcoming days as well. This facility is established in the district for the first time and will go a long way in enhancing the medicare facilities," DDC added.
Meanwhile DDC also inspected various wards and the operation theatre of the hospital and also enquired about the various arrangements put in place by the hospital authorities for the well being of the patients.
The others who are present during the occasion are ADC Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar, BM0 Bhaderwah Dr Hameed Zargar besides other officials of the hospital.
