Just take deep breath and Imagine life as a classroom, Every time we regard our past, whether good or bad, if our past is bad we recall them again and again and cry; by this, we disrespect our teacher. Teacher means we learn from our past. If such incident didn't happen in past, today we are not what we have. By learning from past, we become what we have. If our past was good, we recall and cry and wish, "Please, past moments come back," but they never come back, and we feel bad and become sad. We need to not recall past because they never come back and we can't change the past. If we recall past, we have to respect past as a teacher. As we respect our teacher, we need to respect past as teacher taught many things; same past helps us to learn.life has a simple formula: look back and thank God, look ahead and trust God, and always respect Past and enjoy life and become a living, working monk . 1st July is NationalDoctorDay

The Doctor's Day is observed to lay emphasis on the value of doctors in our lives and to pay tribute to all the doctors who have made relentless efforts towards well-being of people.

BACKGROUND :

(i) It was established by the Government of India in 1991 to be recognized and celebrated every year on 1st of July as National Doctors day.
(ii) It is celebrated on the birth and death anniversary of the most famous physician of India Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy (Dr. B C Roy) to pay lots of honor and tribute.

About Dr. B. C. Roy :

(a) He was a renowned educationist as well as a freedom fighter as he joined the Mahatma Gandhi during Civil Disobedience Movement.
(b) Later he became Indian National Congress leader and then Chief Minister of the West Bengal.
(c) He was honored with the great Indian civilian award called Bharat Ratna in 1961.
(d) To honour him, Dr. B. C. Roy National Award was instituted in the year 1976 to pay honor, respect and tribute.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE DAY :

1. It helps in fulfilling the actual need of doctors and physicians in the lives of everyone as well as their significant roles and responsibilities.
2. National doctors day celebration has been marked as the day of respect for entire professional doctors who have made their great efforts in saving the life of patients.
3. It has been proved as a way of encouragement for all the physicians and doctors to show dedication and commitment towards their profession.
